With a 2.4L total capacity and 1.4L filtered water capacity, the jug is designed to fit neatly inside most standard fridge doors.
MAXTRA PRO Water Filtration
The included BRITA MAXTRA PRO cartridge helps reduce chlorine and other substances that can affect the taste and smell of tap water.
It also reduces selected trace impurities, metals such as lead and copper, and carbonate hardness where these substances are present in the water. This provides fresh-tasting filtered water while helping to reduce limescale build-up in kettles and coffee machines.
BRITA Smart Light Filter Indicator
The integrated BRITA Smart Light monitors both the time and volume of water filtered. Its traffic-light display lets you know when the MAXTRA PRO cartridge should be replaced:
- Green indicates that the cartridge is working
- Yellow means a replacement will be needed soon
- Red means it is time to replace the cartridge
This makes it easy to keep track of your cartridge and maintain consistent filtration performance.
Convenient One-Handed Filling
The practical flip-top lid can be opened with one hand. This allows you to refill the jug directly from the tap without removing the complete lid.
